CTBUH 2020 Singapore Steering Committee Second Meeting

The CTBUH 2020 Singapore Steering Committee had a second strategic meeting hosted at the Web Structures Office in downtown Singapore on Friday, 6 March. The meeting was kindly supported by Ramboll and Web Structures. CTBUH Vice President of Strategic Partnerships Peng Du and Business Development Coordinator Natalie Schoetz also joined the meeting remotely from Chicago. There are 25 representatives from Singapore based firms on the Committee to further advance the thinking around the conference topic of Humanizing High Density—People, Nature & the Urban Realm. At the meeting, the Committee shared ideas for hosting successful off-site programs, tours, and networking receptions at significant projects around Singapore. The Committee also suggested leaders in the industry, government officials, and major local firms to engage in the event through thought leadership and sponsorship. The plan to host a handful of lead-up events was also discussed, in order to build enthusiasm for October’s seminal conference.
