Health and Safety Guidelines for CTBUH Chapter Events

Last updated 11 October 2021

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) is committed the health and safety of those attending our events.

CTBUH chapters follow local public health mandates and guidance. As guidance and mandates evolve, CTBUH will update these guidelines.

Our guidelines for attending CTBUH in-person events are:

Any person who feels unwell, has COVID-19 symptoms, or has received a positive COVID-19 test result in the past 10 days should not attend a CTBUH event. Anyone, regardless of vaccination status, who has had close contact with another person confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19 should also not attend a CTBUH event. Please contact our customer team at [email protected] if you need to cancel your participation due to COVID-19.

Regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, all attendees should follow local public health guidance about wearing a face covering while attending an indoor event.

Attendees visiting from outside of the venue’s locale should follow any applicable travel advisories regarding quarantine or testing for COVID-19.

Attendees understand that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Those attending CTBUH events voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Attendees agree to follow all health and safety guidelines and posted signage. CTBUH reserves the right to require attendees who do not follow our guidelines to leave an event immediately. Anyone who is disrespectful or discourteous to other attendees or staff may also be asked to leave.

Thank you for working with us to keep everyone safe and healthy.
